SikaWall®-05 Plaster Primer is a concentrated, water-based acrylic primer designed for treating and sealing plaster, gypsum, and other absorbent surfaces indoors. It acts as an absorption regulator, preventing premature burning of plaster and fillers. It is essential for improving the adhesion of subsequent finishes (paints, wallpaper, fillers) and creating a uniform surface.

USES

• Treatment of dampness in interior walls on plaster or gypsum surfaces, when small dampnesses from the support cause discoloration and detachment of the paper or blistering of the paint.
• Substrates treated with SikaWall®-05 Primer Plaster can be subsequently covered with paint or wallpaper.

Once dry, SikaWall®-05 Primer Plaster forms a waterproof barrier that prevents:

• The formation of mold and saltpeter stains.
  
• Subsequent blistering of the paint.
  
• Paper detachment.
  
• Deterioration of the support.
